I just passed a major life hurdle and with that behind me, people have started to ask whether I will start blogging again. I haven’t put together a real post yet, but my roommie wrote a witty post about an adventure we had yesterday. You can read about it here.

It’s true.

Two days ago I ran into a friend while on my way to work. As I chatted with him, I was taken by the fact that he seemed taller than I remember him.

The same thing happened yesterday at the gym with another boy. Why was this boy also much taller than I remember? How were these boys still growing?

I then remembered: I know both of these boys from church, where I dress up…wearing heels. The common thread was not that both friends suddenly got taller, but that I don’t wear heels throughout the week.

Mystery solved.

I came back from lunch on Friday and a coworker told me a package had arrived for me. This seemed strange since I hadn’t ordered anything. It turns out that my mom sent me something: Heaven in a Jar, or Pecan Pumpkin Butter.

It was very yummy on French Toast.
